Essensia Naturals Deodorant

I have been on the search for years for a deodorant, free of harmful ingredients, that is effective and has the longevity to stay effective throughout strenuous workouts. I have found and tried several ingredients that satisfied my first requirement, however they did not do the job in regards to “stink control.”

Here is how Essensia describes their product:

Ingredients:

ORGANIC COCONUT OIL:   heals wounds, soothing, anti fungal, antibacterial

ORGANIC ARROWROOT:   dried root of the arrowroot plant, moisture absorbing, softens skin, and heals wounds

ORGANIC ALOE VERA:   moisturizer, hydrating, soothing, healing

WATER:   hydrating

ISOPROPYL PALMITATE:   from palm oil

TRIBEHENIN:   glycerine and fatty acids

SODIUM BICARBONATE:   absorbs odor

GLYCEROL OLEATE:   is the ester of glycerin and oleic acid. It is produced from oils that contain high concentrations of oleic acid, such as olive oil, peanut oil, or pecan oil.

GRAPEFRUIT ESSENTIAL OI:  antibacterial, antiseptic, helps with stress

My Description & Thoughts:

My fiancee has been on board with me in finding natural deodorant options as well, without complete satisfaction.

Enter: Essensia Natural Deodorant. He and I both applied this Essensia Deodorant in the morning and did a “pit check” every few hours to check for stinkiness. By the end of the day, we both did a pit check and were pleasantly surprised. The original scent of the deodorant had mostly faded, however, there was no stink! We are both heavy sweaters and were impressed with this product. I would imagine that most individuals who are looking for a natural deodorant are most interested in two things: clean ingredients and effective staying power. This product has mostly clean ingredients and works satisfactorily.
